Winter Adult Recital Coming!
If you have never played an instrument before, are continuing on your lifelong journey of music making or want to become a part of a community of like-minded music lovers, we have the opportunity for you- come to lessons at The Piano Cottage where you are certain to find a program to fit your musical interests and take off in this community of sensational adults of all ages!
We are excited to share that the Genthe family (2 awesome adult piano students at TPC!) are graciously opening their Heritage Hill home again to host the annual winter recital for adult students only!
Date: Sunday March 24, 2019 at 4:00 pm Where: Heritage Hill, Grand Rapids (312 Paris Ave SE)
What to bring: Everyone brings an appetizer to share and BYOD. How to RSVP: Email email@example.com if and/or your spouse are attending (whether you plan to perform a piece or not). What to wear: Clothing is good. What to expect: A group of 10-15 awesome adults of all backgrounds that will eat, mingle, talk, laugh and perform a favorite piece of their choosing or just listen and enjoy the other performances! We will likely have a range of experience from outright beginners, to intermediate to advanced; some performing their selections from memory and others with music; regardless it will be a fun, low pressure and very worthwhile event! Cost: $0 for TPC Students Questions? Please contact Ms. Jean Gardner -firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to attend (whether you plan to perform a piece or not). While you certainly do not have to attend; the setting is in a beautiful Heritage Hill home and the company of such interesting and accomplished adults with a real commitment and passion for music is very rewarding and worthwhile. You will be glad you came! In years past, a program was not printed; adults mingled, ate and went up to perform when they wanted to. It was very fun & this is designed to be a casual and rewarding low pressure performance opportunity. Last year's recital ended with Linda Livermore playing a great Michael Jackson piece! (Teachers are welcome to perform as well) - all instruments and vocal students are encouraged to attend! Sincerely, The Piano Cottage Teachers & Staff Jean Gardner email@example.com
