Staying Motivated During Your Summer Music Studies!
Summer is finally with us, and we couldn't be happier about it here at The Piano Cottage! But with all of the excitement in these sunshine-filled months, we know that sometimes it can be hard for students to feel motivated to practice their instruments. So today, instead of our normal weekly updates post, we're here to help with that problem!
If you are feeling uninspired with your music studies this summer, take a "field trip"! Going to see a musical, symphony, or concert is a great way to refresh, excite and motivate yourself to practice and improve on your instrument.
And here's a great field trip option for you: our very own annual summer concert series The Piano Cottage Rocks! This year, the event will feature over 100 TPC students performing 26 songs, covering artists ranging from Deep Purple to Neil Diamond, the Greatest Showman musical to Journey, Pat Benetar, Ed Sheeran, Gloria Gaynor, Joss Stone and more in a two-hour performance at Wealthy Theater. Tickets are on sale NOW and available to the public for both shows - you get two chances to see one unforgettable show!
